Goodrich Creek flows two and one half scenic miles through the western portion of the 101 Ranch in Lassen County.  Situated at just over 5,000 ft. above sea level, in North Eastern California where the Sierra Nevada mountains meet the Cascade range.  This exclusive stretch of private water offers superb angling for rainbow and brown trout from May through October.

Our season usually begins some time in May depending upon road conditions.  Goodrich Creek provides a unique and exclusive experience any time during the fishing season.  Goodrich Creek offers a perfect opportunity for an angler and his family to get away into a remote rural setting in one of the most beautiful regions in northern California.

This spring fed stream first flows through pine trees, logs and rock ledges challenging the more experienced angler.  From there it flows out into a broad grassy meadow and becomes more placid where it offers the opportunity for the beginner and novice fly fisher to experience success in moving water without obstructions to back casts.  The stream indeed offers all levels of angling skills.

Early season anglers will find good success using nymphs and the coming summer will bring an awesome hexegenia hatch.  Leech patterns work well throughout the season.  Late summer and fall provide great action for terrestrials, especially grasshoppers.  The fishing is, of course, catch and release.
